Ján Púček: Until memory is wiped out

Ján Púček is a writer, journalist and editor. He was born in Liptovský Mikuláš in 1987. He studied film dramaturgy and scriptwriting at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. His first book of short stories Stone in Stone came out in 2012, followed by Windows Towards the Fields (2013), Through the Eye of the Needle (2015), The Honey of Memory (2018) and The Carpatians! (2022). “I may well be obsessed with looking at everything through the past tense. But it’s a worry of mine that everything will be forgotten and that our memory will be wiped out,” he says.
