Laco Kerata — Dry years

Born in 1961, Laco Kerata is an actor, director, cabaretier and a writer. He studied stage direction at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and co-founded the famous Stoka Theatre with Blaho Uhlár and Miloš Karásek. He authored several theatrical and radio plays, poetry collections titled Hriešny spánok (Sinful Sleeping, 1991) and Prišiel som, videl som… (I came, I saw…, 2000), as well as a collection of comedic short stories titled Mám sa… (I Feel…, 2004) and the novels Zlý herec (A Bad Actor, 2009) and Suché roky (Dry Years, 2019).
